Competitive Field & Team-Bonding On Tap At Vineyard Invite

HOKA and Marathon Sports will be sponsoring several cross-country meets this season. The first of those competitions is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9 with 16th annual Vineyard X-C Invitational. The meet, hosted by Martha’s Vineyard High, is sanctioned by the MIAA and the bordering states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

In the past, this meet has attracted some great competition for the teams that have made the trek to the Island. Although it’s in-state for MA teams, it does create an out-of-state feel to it for Bay Staters with the fact that schools will have to board a ferry for their trip to the meet. What better (and fun!) way to create some team-bonding, right?

The meet includes a Freshmen Co-Ed 3K race as well as separate Boys’ and Girls’ JV and Varsity 5K races. Top individuals will receive awards. See Schedule and Award breakdown below.

All entries will be accomplished through Direct Athletics. You must have an account, username and
password to enter if you don’t already have one. Here is the link:
