#17 Catholic Memorial
The Catholic Memorial Boys are back with another strong squad and will look to challenge a few other Catholic Conference teams that are still to come on our list. The Knights return most of their squad from 2025 and this year they’re led upfront by Daniel Kaleba who was 10th at last years Catholic Conference Championship in 16:04. He was strong on the track as well running 4:29 for the mile.
Catholic Memorial’s strength lay in their depth. Jude Kaleba was their #2 runner at the Division 1C race last year in a PR of 16:32 finishing in 15th. Add in Gerard Stock, 16:17, and Theo Fitzpatrick, 16:33, and the Knights have a formidable top four. If this group can stick together and get down into the low 16, high 15 range, they’ll be one of the top teams to watch in 1C.
However, they will need a fifth runner to close the gap on their top four. Finn Rosenbaum appears next up. He ran a PR of 17:58 at the Catholic Memorial Invitational and ran as part of the top seven at the Divisional Meet and Meet of Champions. The Knights were third in their conference and fourth in their division last year with a similar core. Look for them to ascend the rankings and challenge for the win in Division 1C.
