Vineyard XC Invitational
On the island of Martha’s Vineyard, the 18th annual Vineyard XC Invitational will be held on the school’s grounds. The popular event includes a Freshmen Co-Ed 3K race, followed by JV and Varsity 5K races. Twenty-nine schools are registered, including returning boys’ and girls’ team champions Barrington (RI) and Amherst-Pelham. Barrington will look to make it four in a row, while Amherst-Pelham is a year removed from scoring just 22 points to secure the 2024 title. Individually, familiar faces like defending champions Michael Upton of Catholic Memorial and Emily Flagg of Whitinsville Christian are expected to answer the gun.

Marathon Sports will be on site selling merchandise, including meet T-shirts.
