Since the beginning of the week, teams from throughout the state have been competing in their respective league championships. Mixed along with several of those championship meets on Saturday is the last big statewide invitational of the spring campaign, the annual MSTCA South Shore Twilight Invitational at Norwell High.
The meet kicks off at 2 p.m., and features the standard individual track and throwing/jumping events as well as the Sprint Medley Relay and a Freshmen Mile, 400-meter run and 100m dash.
Last year, a total 11 meet records were set in 2024. Could we have a similar results this weekend? Time will tell.
