Predictions (Team/Individual winners)Div. 3A – Individually, this one could be close with Gavris, Dalgar and Germain as our leading contenders. Germain is the defending champion and a runner-up at the Meet of Champions where she was timed in a PR of 18:54.89. Dalgar was fourth in 2B with a sub-19. Gavris, who is coming off an injury that shutdown most of her indoor season and her entire outdoor campaign, won the individual title at MOC in 18:47.71 and was second in 3A. Take your pick. Dennis Yarmouth and Weston look to be the top contenders for team honors. Weston returns five of its seven runners, who won the team title at the divisional meet and MOC. Dennis Yarmouth has four coming back, including its top three. The Dolphins were third in Div. 2 at MOC. Div. 3B – Dunbury is the defending titlist and was sixth at the MOC where she clocked 19:50. She gets the favorite nod. Sutton is the team to beat in this division. The Suzies have all of their runners back from a squad that was third in Div. 3C in 2022. . Div. 3C – Our 1-2-3 finishers in this meet last year will be back on the line with Wool, Murphy and Culver. It could be more of the same this time around. Lenox, Bromfield and Mount Greylock all seem to be equally matched. Meet of Champions – Just like last year where they finished 1-2, Weston and Sutton appear to be our leading contenders here. Individually, the competition could be heated, too. Nine of the top 10 are returning, including our 1-2 finishers, Gavris and Germain. Wool, Culver and Dunbury all went sub-20.
