#7 Westwood
Westwood came into 2025 with high hopes and we had them ranked as the top team in Division 2. In the end they fell to third place behind Boston Latin Academy and Canton at the Meet of Champions. However, they bring too much talent back to be ignored for 2026.
While it may not have been there best day, Westwood still returns their top five from the Meet of Champions. What’s interesting is that looking over last year’s results, Westwood had the second strongest fifth runner after Boston Latin. Ryan Colleran was 55th overall, with Cara Sullivan and Elyse Boger right in front of her at 52nd and 47th. If that core group can move up together, they’ll be tough to overcome.
Susannah Rockers and Hailey Cashman were 25th and 28th and should vie for spots in the top 15 this season. Rockers has a PR of 18:40. Boger, Cashman, and Colleran have all broken 20 minutes at one point or another. Ciara Chi should help fill out the top seven. Chi returns with a PR of 20:27 and ran with the team at the Divisional Meet and Meet of Champions.
