#9 Greater Lowell Tech
The defending champs bring back a strong core from 2025. As a young team last year, they also bring a lot of room for improvement. However, this year they won’t catch anyone by surprise.
Hannah Levesque was their top finisher at the Meet of Champions last fall as just a freshman. She was 17th overall in 20:16. Fellow incoming sophomore Lillian Zurkus has the top overall 5K PR from her win at the MVADA League Championships in 19:28 over the course in Wrentham. Incoming Junior Teagan Galvagni was second overall in 19:33. Levesque was third in 19:43. This trio could form a strong pack at most races late in the season. Olivia Stack and Makenzie Plouff return with PRs of 20:50 and 21:02 from the same meet and should round out the top 5.
Based off 5K PRs alone, Greater Lowell Tech and Norwell appear evenly matched. Tech has a very strong top three but if their four and five runners can close the gap, the gryphon’s may be too much to handle for anyone.
