It was yet another eventful season for our MA track & field athletes. Throughout the summer months, Bay State Running will feature some of our most memorable performances during the outdoor campaign. Here we feature Westford Academy’s Ryan Kyle.
When it comes to versatility, Kyle was one of our MA’s best. The talented junior has range that includes PRs of 23 feet, 8 inches for the long jump, 50.20 seconds for the 400-meter dash, 40-11.25 for the shot and six feet for the high jump, just to name a few. The performance were putting here is what Kyle ran to earn his first individual title at the Meet of Champions. It was there that the WA standout clocked his all-time best of 14.10 to capture the 110 hurdles. Kyle’s effort, which put him .35 ahead of his closest pursuer, tied him for No. 5 on the state’s all-time list.
