Brookline and Concord-Carlisle Shine at Amherst
This past weekend was jam packed with races, so you’d be excused if you missed one. Stanley Park wasn’t the only venue in Western Mass that hosted a meet, as the Umass XC course was the site of the Amherst Invitational. Two top ranked teams from the Bay State came away with victories.
Greta Hammer Claims First Major Victory at Manchester Invite
Reigning Meet of Champions winner Greta Hammer headed north of the border to claim her first Invitational win of the season. Last year, The Manchester Invite was the site of one of the few losses she saw all season. She came in second to Glastonbury great Brooke Strauss in 2024, with a time of 19:01 on the challenging course.

Week Two is in the books and the action continues to heat up. There were a lot of dual meets this past weekend and a handful of Invitationals.
Amherst-Pelham takes over Southern Maine
While there was plenty of action in the Bay State this Saturday, the Amherst-Pelham Regional boys team went north to test themselves. The Southern Maine Classic played host to 35 teams in Gorham, ME. Most of the competition was from Maine, but it was one of our own that took the crown.
Banner Day for North Andover and Boston Latin Academy
Bright skies and warm temperatures greeted the field at the Inaugural Marshvegas classic. A perfect day to get your feet wet.
Marshvegas Classic Preview
The Marshfield Fairgrounds are a staple on the south shore. Visitors from all over the state come for events ranging from massive concerts like the Levitate Music Festival to Car Shows and Farmer’s Markets. On Saturday the historic venue will host a different kind of event.
