9. Groton-Dunstable
Groton-Dunstable returns five of their top seven from last season and managed to land in our top ten. They won the Division 2C race last season and are poised to do the same in 2025. Up front they have one of the strongest 1-2 punches in the state with Greyson Duane and Andrew Kosiba. As sophomores they went 1 and 3 at the divisional meet. Duane followed that up with a 4:19 Mile in the spring, and the two of them are in the top six for returners from the Meet of Champions in Division Two.
What lands them at #9 is their depth. They’re three and four runners, Micah Pierantozzi and Evan Solger, come back with strong times of 16:32 and 16:47 respectively. Solger had a strong outdoor season with a 4:36 Mile. Like our previous team, if they get a fifth runner to close in on those two, they could find themselves much higher come November. Senior Timothy Yafrate has a PR of 17:46 and should be able to fill that need.
