Meet records, state records, a few national champions, a plethora of PRs and much, much more.
As been customary each and every spring, the outdoor track & field season in Rhode Island was full of highlights, full of stuff to keep us busy here at Bay State Running. From our throwers to our jumpers to our runners, our latest crop of talent left an undeniable impact the last three months.
The national meets that took place just over a week ago, saw a nearly 20-year-old state mark come down, a sprint medley squad take gold down on the west coast and a shot-putter earn himself a long-awaited and much-deserved national title.
But you know us, at least we think you do. Even though another year has come to a close, it doesn’t end for us here at OSR. We don’t like to remain still for too long. We plan to continue to provide content throughout the summer months, and it begins this week. Within the next few days, we’ll start featuring some of the top performances that caught our eye this outdoor season, the memorable moments of 2023.
Keep us tuned.
