We have complete footage of Friday’s second annual BSR Mid-Distance Classic. Under cool and often windy conditions, athletes from several schools in Massachusetts and nearby Rhode Island competed in the two-hour meet, hosted by St. John’s Prep and featuring the 400-meter run, 800m, mile and shot. Among the winners were Alexis Caggiano of La Salle Academy (RI) in the girls’ 400m (1:00.1), La Salle’s Garrett Giroux-Pezzullo in the boys’ 400m (50.42), Westford Academy’s Abigail Hennessey in the girls’ 800m (2:17.xx), Ludlow’s Logan Walsh in the boys’ 800m (1:56.48), Pentucket’s Kaylie Dalgar in the girls’ mile (5:12.38), St. John’s Prep’s Daniel Padley in the boys’ mile (4:27.12), La Salle’s Grace Keosykhao in the girls’ shot (29-1) and St. John’s Prep’s Gael Garcia in the boys’ shot (48-6.75).
