HOKA Athletes Of The Week: Hopedale’s Ari Levine & Natick’s Emmanuella Edozian

This past weekend we had three meets where our MA athletes produced some great performances – the Marathon Sports Winter Classic at the TRACK at New Balance and the Freshmen-Sophomore Large & Small School meets at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center. For this week’s HOKA Athletes of the Week, we’re choosing a pair of underclassmen. Congratulations to Hopedale’s Ari Levine and Natick’s Emmnanuella Edozian for this week’s honor.

Levine achieved the 50-foot mark in the shot put for the first time in his brief career. The Raiders’ stophomore tossed a winning distance of 50 feet, 5.5 inches to capture gold in Saturday’s Small School meet. In the subsequent Large School meet, Edozian was the fastest on the track, taking the girls’ 55-meter dash with a PR of 7.37 seconds. The tenth-grader currently ranks No. 5 in the state.
