HOKA Athletes Of The Week: Winchester’s Daniel KIllian & Bishop Feehan’s Brooke Serak

We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season. To begin the new year for the HOKA Athletes of the Week, we’d like to introduce our first two male and female recipients of 2024. Congratulations to Winchester’s Daniel Killian and Bishop Feehan’s Brooke Serak, who we nominate for this week’s honor.

Killian continued to solidify his status as the state’s No. 1 sprinter at this past week’s MSTCA Boston Holiday Challenge. At last Wednesday’s meet, the speedy senior captured 60-meter dash by blazing to a winning time and PR of 7.01 seconds, edging Xavier (CT) senior Stylz Mitchell at the line bu one hundredth of a second. Killian came back later in the meet to place second in the 300m where he was timed in 34.97.

The Shamrocks’ Serak, the defending state titlist in the shot, won her speciality at the Holiday Challenge at the TRACK at New Balance with a near season best of 38 feet, 9.25 inches. She currently sits atop the state rankings with a throw of 39-5 from a league meet on Dec. 20.
