It was a big day for several of our Bay State athletes at the New England Championships this past Saturday, most who were prepping for the upcoming national meets that are on agenda over the weekend.
For this week’s female recipient of the HOKA Athlete of the Week, we nominate one of our winners from the regional competition in Bangor, Me., Dedham shot-putter Catherine Sargent. Sargent was at her best at the New England’s where she unleashed a more than two-foot PR of 44-3 to take home the gold and the No.1 spot in the state rankings.
