When top high school runners transition to the NCAA, it can be quite shocking at first. When you’re used to winning races or at least challenging up at the front, getting thrown into the NCAA where there’s olympic athletes can be daunting.
Battle of the Border Preview
Time to the throw division and league rivalries aside. This weekend is about Massachusetts vs New Hampshire at the 21st annual Battle of the Border. This 2025 edition of the race will take place at Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH.

This past weekend featured two of the biggest invites of the season for the Baystate so it should come as no surprise this week’s rankings contain a lot of movement. Some teams confirmed what we already believed, while others seemed to come out of nowhere.

This past weekend featured two of the biggest invites of the season for the Bay State, so it should come as no surprise this week’s rankings contain a lot of movement. Some teams confirmed what we already believed, while others seemed to come out of nowhere. A few teams struggled, perhaps due to the unseasonably warm weather Saturday. The Championship Races at Ocean State went off smack dab in the middle of the afternoon. Still, there was a lot to celebrate.
Bay State Invitational Recap
This weekend promised loads of action and it did not disappoint. While the Ocean State Invite may have drawn more eyes throughout the region, the Bay State Invitational provided some of the biggest results of the young season so far, and we learned a lot about some of states best teams and runners. Bay State Invitational Preview
This weekend of competition is the biggest of the season, and possibly until states in November. Both the Ocean State Invitational and the Bay State Invitational will feature many of the top teams and runners in the state.
