10. Cambridge
At ten we have the Cambridge Rindge and Latin girls, and they have a tough task if they want to stay near the top of the rankings. Up front they have one of the best, if not the best, top threes of any team in the state. Sophia Jaunes Seto, Fiona Litman, and Violet Smith will get the Falcons off to a great start. Jaunes Seto was top five at the Division 1A race and top ten at the Meet of Champions. She followed that up with a 10:49 Two Mile in the spring. With her leading the charge, the Falcons will be off and running strong. What happens next will decide their fate as a team.
At four and five they have Neelam Trivedi and Nia Raskar coming back having run 21:35 and 21:47, both great times in their own right, but it leaves a sizable gap between the two groups. Some of the teams in front of them may not have the strength up front that the Falcons do, but they have a tighter 1-5 pack. If they want to finish on the podium, they’ll need to see improvements across the board.
