Preseason Boys #15: The Bromfield School

15. Bromfield

The Bromfield School has a long history of Cross-Country success, and they return their entire top seven from their team that finished second at the Division 3C meet last year. Their top 5 has a spread from 17:17 down to 15:56. Junior Ben McWaters will lead the way after a third place showing at the 3C meet. He is the number two returning runner from that race.

After making it to the Meet of Champions, their entire varsity squad comes into 2025 having already seen the course at Willard Field. If they’re going to compete for the win at the divisional meet and beyond, it will come down to their depth. They should have a realistic shot at getting all their scoring runners under 17 minutes. If their 2 and 3 runners from last year, Harrison Binnick and Liam Kemeza, can get closer to McWaters they could compete for the title. Also watch out for incoming Sophomore Kai Kameza to build off a strong freshmen season.
