19. Plymouth South
Plymouth South has won six straight Patriot League titles and appear poised to make it seven. Top returner Anthony Lyons will lead the way after finishing third in 16:10 at the Patriot League Championships last year. They return five runners from a squad that finished second at the Division 2A Championships. Like our last team, championship experience will be a huge factor for Plymouth, having raced at Willard Field twice last season. Kenji Gallo and Michael Reiche both finished top 30 at the divisional meet on the challenging course. Look for Nixen McNeil to build on his strong freshmen campaign to help round out their squad.
If the Panthers can get their top five tighter heading into the postseason, they should continue the success this program has seen over the last decade and challenge for the 2A title this season.
Below is a projected top 5 with last year’s 5K PRS
12 Anthony Lyons 16:10
12 Michael Reiche 16:40
11 Kenji Gallo 17:09
12 Nathan Burton 17:25
10 Nixen McNeil 17:34
