With times in the 52-second range for the 400m, Pulpi showed the potential he could excel in the long sprint as a tenth-grader in 2024. He downright proved it this past year.

Just a few months after earning runner-up honors in the 300m during the indoor season, Pulpi captured his first individual title at the Meet of Champions (MOC) on June 7. He blazed through the 400m in a personal-best 48.08 seconds — his third time breaking the 49-second barrier.

Pulpi also won the Division 3 Championship in 48.46 and secured a bronze medal at the New England Championships, clocking 48.49. By the way, the Reading standout was also was third in the 200m at the MOC where he also achieved a PR, clocking 21.59
