With 27 days until the official start of the 2025 Cross Country Season, Bay State Running will help count down the days by releasing our Preseason Top 20 Rankings for both Boys and Girls. While we based our rankings on the entirety of the 2024-25 season, we weighed success in cross country more heavily.
Teams projected Top 5-7 are based off 5K PRs listed on Athletic.net. To qualify teams must have at least five runners returning. While the rankings are entirely subjective, we did our best to weigh the difficulty of various courses.
This year the Meet of Champions will take place at Willard Field in Devens, MA. Once the season gets under way with invitationals and dual meets, we will update the rankings on a weekly basis.
This year we will also be announcing a Runner of the Week along with the rankings. The chosen athletes will receive a T-Shirt from Bay State Running.
