And just like that, another year of high school cross country and track & field has come to a close for Rhode Island athletes. Another year of spectacular performances on the trails, the oval and out in the fields.
While the meets have essentially ended for out latest year of high school competition, it doesn’t mean it ends here at Bay State Running. We will continue to keep the content flowing each and every week. As we do after each year, we’ll highlight some of the top events this spring with our Memorable Moments feature. We also be writing some features on a local talent and beginning around mid August, we’ll start shifting into cross-country mode by previewing what’s in store for the upcoming fall campaign.
