BSR To Highlight Top Performances Of Spring

The one constant about our MA track & field athletes is they always keep us busy with some great material to write about at Bay State Running. Just like previous seasons, this spring was no different. We certainly had our share of memorable moments. Who can forget the boys’ two mile at the Meet of Champions where we had three under nine minutes, including one runner that broke the state record -albeit short-lived -with one of the top times in the country! How about the girls’ 400-meter hurdles at the MOC where we had our first hurdler under 60 seconds? There’s also the girls’ triple jump from the divisional state meet where one of our leapers, and eventual national champion, nearly qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials, falling just 3.5 inches short. These are just three of those special performances that our athletes produced this outdoor campaign.

Beginning soon, we’ll be recognizing those performances and a host more on BSR. Just another reason to keep us tuned in throughout the summer months.
