We’re back.
After a brief break, we’re back to recognizing our top athletes each week with our HOKA Athlete of the Week series. As our female recipient. we’d like to congratulate Westford Academy freshman Abby Hennessey for this week’s honor. The promising ninth-grader had the biggest race of her young career by winning the 800-meter title at the BSR Mid Distance Classic this past weekend with a time of 2 minutes, 16.94 seconds. Hennessey upset pre-race favorite Ashlynn Witt of Wachusett with a strong finishing kick the final straightaway.
